Zebra Increases Year Over Year Sales by 12% with a Pattern Partnership

Why Zebra partnered with Pattern: Unauthorized sellers, Inconsistent and inaccurate content

Before Zebra signed on as a Pattern partner in 2018, they were experiencing some problems regarding compliance and inconsistent content across their listings. Zebra was also struggling with inaccuracies throughout their listing content.

What Zebra and Pattern accomplished together

Zebra partnered with Pattern to gain back control of their ecommerce presence and create quality content on all ecommerce platforms to represent their brand. Together Zebra and Pattern built a strategy focused on the following pillars:

  1. Cleaning up Amazon listings
  2. Creating new written content for listings
  3. Creating new image stacks to highlight product

Let’s chat about each of the pillars and discuss the outcomes we achieved working together with Zebra.

3 strategic pillars that helped Zebra grow

1. Cleaning up Amazon listings

We worked with Zebra to identify unauthorized sellers who were threatening Zebra’s control on Amazon and disrupting their prices.

This strategy was centered around using Pattern’s Predict software that helped Zebra uncover all of their current noncompliant sellers across Amazon. The visibility that Pattern’s Predict omnichannel ecommerce software provided helped Zebra identify key contributors to their control problems including channel conflict, price erosion, and inconsistent product listings.

After using Predict, Zebra was able to clean up their distribution network and remove unauthorized sellers causing channel conflict and price erosion.

2. Creating new written content for listings

To continue improving Zebra’s product listings, Pattern SEO experts created new written content for all of Zebra’s listings.

Our Predict software helps our experts research potential search volume and winnability to deliver a prioritized list of high-impact keywords. Our experts then worked to implement the keywords right into the listings, then measured Zebra’s SEO performance after changes.

3. Creating new image stacks to highlight product

After gaining back control and expanding their reach, Zebra worked with Pattern to create product content that would match their high quality brand.

Pattern’s creative team worked on curating quality images and videos that educated the viewer and eventually led to a huge increase in sales.

A key part of this strategy was making all of Zebra’s product listings and content consistent across the board. Eliminating unauthorized sellers helped with this initially but creating content that was on brand really unified all of the product listings.

These creative assets were all focused around showcasing Zebra’s quality and expertise to educate the consumer on the unique benefits their brand brings to the electronics market.

After working through this strategy, Zebra saw a plethora of success and growth. Here are some of the wins Zebra seen since working with Pattern:
