Pattern recognized for building the technology, data set, and global infrastructure to help consumer brands accelerate their online commerce growth in more than 60 countries.

SALT LAKE CITY — March 19, 2024 — Fast Company today named Pattern to its prestigious list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies alongside Nvidia, OpenAI, Novo Nordisk, Taylor Swift Productions, and Beyonce’s Parkwood Entertainment for leveraging innovation to shape industry and culture on a global scale.

“Pattern is at the forefront of innovation right now,” said Fast Company Executive Editor Amy Farley. “The company has made a meaningful impact—transforming its business, its industry, and moving the world forward. As Pattern sets a new bar for innovation, the company is pushing boundaries and doing work that previously seemed impossible. That takes tremendous vision, immense skill, and determination. A huge congratulations to Pattern for being one of the world’s most innovative companies in 2024.”

Pattern’s reception of Fast Company’s highest honor is part of a growing list of accolades for the company over the last 18 months—which includes honors from Inc. as a Global Power Partner, Newsweek as a Global 100 Most-Loved Workplace, and Deloitte as one of the Fastest-Growing Technology Companies in North America.

“I can’t say enough about our incredible team. They are the best in the industry,” said Pattern Co-Founder and CEO David Wright. “The technologies and solutions they’re building are helping consumer brands break through barriers, expand into new markets, lower friction for their customers, and accelerate their growth online. From leveraging the latest in AI, to uncovering new ways to harness the most comprehensive data set in ecommerce—Pattern has a massive sandbox for exploration and innovation. It’s an exciting time to be in ecommerce, and we’re honored to see our work recognized by the team at Fast Company.”

The World’s Most Innovative Companies list stands as Fast Company’s hallmark business award and one of its most anticipated editorial efforts of the year. Fast Company’s editors and writers identified the companies driving progress around the world and across industries, assessing thousands of companies through a competitive evaluation process. The result is a globe-spanning guide to innovation today, from early stage startups to some of the most valuable companies in the world.

“Congratulations to Pattern for making Fast Company’s list of the Most Innovative Companies in the world—the highest honor we bestow upon the companies we cover,” said Fast Company Editor-in-Chief Brendan Vaughan. “Our list of the Most Innovative Companies is both a comprehensive look at the innovation economy and a snapshot of the business trends that defined the year. We saw extraordinary innovation across the board in 2023, but we also saw a handful of clear patterns: the growing footprint and impact of AI, the triumphant return of live events, and great leaps forward in climate tech. We face daunting challenges on many fronts, but the solutions we celebrate in MIC give me plenty of hope about the future.”

Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies list is available online now and on newsstands beginning March 26.
