ENLISTED DESIGN-Fast Company Most Innovative Design Company

OAKLAND, Calif. — March 2, 2023 — Enlisted Design, a Pattern company and the leading design agency for the creator economy, has been named to Fast Company’s prestigious annual list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies for 2023—joining Mschf, Figma, OpenAI, Disney, NASA, and more.

To assemble this year’s list, Fast Company’s editors and writers sought out companies making the largest impact through innovation across the globe. 2023 marks the fifth consecutive year that Fast Company has recognized Enlisted’s transformative design work with leading creators and world-class brands—like MrBeast, Allbirds, Bose, OLLY, and more.

“This award is a direct reflection of Enlisted’s ability to navigate business, data, and design to create the world’s most craveable brands and product experiences,” said Enlisted Design CEO and Pattern Chief Design Officer Beau Oyler. “True innovation in design can only happen when we erase the artificial lines that were created between all facets of design—branding, packaging, industrial design, and so on—while leaning on the latest in data science and technology. This is the path we’ve pioneered to accelerate the path to craveability for any brand that plays in the CPG, fashion, beauty, health and wellness, and consumer tech. We’re excited to continue to serve as guides and accelerators on that journey.”

The 2023 Most Innovative Companies list highlights the businesses at the forefront of their respective industries, paving the way for the innovations of tomorrow. These companies are setting the standard with some of the greatest accomplishments of the modern world. In addition to the World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies, 540 organizations are recognized across 54 sectors and regions.

“As the influence and buying power of Millennials and Gen-Z continue to climb, brands must increasingly rely on data science to reinvent the way they position, package, and design their products. No firm does this better than Enlisted,” said Pattern Co-Founder and CEO David Wright. “Pattern acquired Enlisted for its industry-leading track record of accelerating brands and this award is just one more reflection of their deep expertise. Innovation is simply in their DNA.”

Fast Company will host its third annual Most Innovative Companies Summit on April 19 and 20. The virtual summit celebrates the Most Innovative Companies in business, and provides an inside look at cutting-edge business trends and what it takes to innovate in 2023.

“What a strange and thrilling year it has been to honor this year’s Most Innovative Companies,” said Fast Company editor-in-chief Brendan Vaughan. “This year’s list compiles some of the most cutting-edge groundbreakers who are changing our world every single day, from legacy organizations like McDonald’s to upstarts like MrBeast and institutions such as NASA. Everyone on this list does something completely, uniquely different, yet, they all have one thing in common: innovation.”

Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies issue (March/April 2023) is available online here, as well as in-app form via iTunes, and on newsstands beginning March 14.
