Deloitte Names Pattern One of the Fastest-Growing Technology Companies in North America

SALT LAKE CITY — November 18, 2021 — Pattern, the category leader for global ecommerce acceleration, has been named to the 2021 Deloitte Technology Fast 500—a ranking of the fastest-growing tech companies in North America.

Now in its 27th year, the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 identifies the highest-growth public and private companies representing eight tech categories: software/SaaS, semiconductor, medical devices, energy tech, electronic devices, media, telecommunications, and biotechnology.

To be eligible for the annual award, companies must own proprietary intellectual property or technology that is sold to customers in products or services that contribute to a majority of the company’s operating revenues. Pattern’s high rate of growth—and the proprietary technology powering its ecommerce acceleration platform—made the company a leading candidate for this year’s list.

“Building Pattern’s ecommerce acceleration platform has resulted in something larger and more impactful than I ever could have imagined when I joined the company as one of its first employees seven years ago,” said Pattern Chief Technology Officer Jason Wells. “At its core, it’s always been about two things—creating a proprietary data set and wrapping that data with game-changing technology that accelerates brands at scale. The dynamic state of ecommerce has kept our global engineering team excited about the challenges we’re solving and constantly pushing boundaries. The possibilities of what this team can build and achieve are still endless.”

Since its founding in 2013, Pattern has profitably grown to more than 1,100 employees operating in 22 global locations to support leading brands across the world. The company has a strong history of leveraging its proprietary technology, operational and logistics capabilities, and significant team of leading industry experts to help market-leading brands achieve accelerated ecommerce growth and control in more than 100 countries and across hundreds of global marketplaces—including Amazon, Tmall, Walmart.com, JD, Target.com, eBay, and Mercado Libre.

“At Pattern, everything we do is about helping brands grow their ecommerce business,” said Pattern Chief Product Officer Aaron Smith. “It has been an amazing journey as we have built out our ecommerce acceleration platform, which has enabled our partner brands to grow even faster. Our platform helps brands make better decisions, increase traffic, boost conversion, protect their brand, and expand internationally. We can’t wait to share the innovations we’ll be rolling out in the year to come.”
