Newsweek Names Pattern One of America’s Most Loved Workplaces
Pattern recognized as a company that places employee experience at the center of its business model.
SALT LAKE CITY — October 2, 2024 — Pattern, the leader for global ecommerce acceleration, joins other top employers—including Databricks, Kraft Heinz, and STIHL—in Newsweek’s newly published list of America’s Top Most Loved Workplaces® for 2024.
Newsweek's annual list recognizes companies that place respect, caring, and appreciation for employees at the center of their business models.
“Every member of our team deserves credit for this recognition,” said Pattern Co-Founder and CEO David Wright. “Incredible workplaces aren’t created from the top down, they are built person to person. I can’t say it enough: Business is a team sport, and our team has built an incredible environment where people are accelerated to do the best work of their careers.”
Newsweek’s list of America’s Top Most Loved Workplaces® was created in partnership with the Best Practice Institute (BPI), a benchmark research company that studies practices that lead to employee motivation and satisfaction. For this list, BPI measured five basic areas of employee affinity: the level of collaboration at a firm, how positive workers are about their future at the company, how much employer and employee values align, the level of respect at all levels, and career achievement. Working in consultation with Newsweek editors, BPI also gave consideration to workplace and talent-development initiatives.
“America’s Top Most Loved Workplaces are remarkable for a variety of reasons,” said Newsweek Global Editor in Chief Nancy Cooper. “Beyond just the considerations of pay and benefits, they lead in terms of employee satisfaction, workplace culture, and providing the tools for employees to do their best work. With workplace fulfillment across all aspects of a job so rare, the companies spotlighted here are each distinguished for earning high marks from their employees.”
To identify the top 200 companies for this list, BPI surveyed more than 2.6 million employees at companies ranging in size from 50 team members to more than 10,000. Additionally, hundreds of company officials were interviewed. Companies were evaluated and scored as follows: 50 percent of the initial score was based on direct employee responses to BPI's Love of Workplace Index® assessment. 35 percent came from BPI's direct interviews with company officials. The final 15 percent was derived from analysis of external public ratings from sites such as Comparably, Careerbliss, Glassdoor, Indeed, and Google. Newsweek then conducted editorial research on every company before the final list of 200 companies and their rankings was completed.
In addition to the honor in Newsweek, BPI also recognized Pattern as a Top Most Loved Workplace for career advancement, young professionals, wellness, veterans, and parents and caregivers.
